Mmm Yummy 5 Ingredient Banana Pancakes

These are so easy to make and are so absolutely scrummy! My kids love to make pancakes on a Saturday morning and these are an absolute hit and don’t have all the sugar like usual pancakes do!

5 Ingredient Banana Pancakes

Chickpea Cookies

These are sooooo yum and are one of my kids favourite snacks. Also with no sugar added! And they get gobbled up pretty quickly!

Nut-free Bliss Balls

These are super easy to make and not only do the kids love them but they are nut free which means I can put them in their lunch boxes for school and they won’t kill anyone!

Allergy Free Bliss Balls

Vegetarian Lentil Lasagne

This is one of the best recipes I have for sneaking veges into my kids bellies!!! The lentils are a great substitute for mince and the kids don’t even notice!

Hidden Vege Macaroni Cheese

Yum, this is so delicious and the kids have no idea they’re eating veg! Check it out!

Spaghetti Bolognese

This is my kids FAV! They love spaghetti Bolognese more so because we call it worms in the mud! Sometimes when I need to make the lazy version I just use tomato pasta sauce tins. I always grate carrot and zucchini into the pasta sauce and then add some chopped spinach in too. And, sometimes I bulk up the mince with a tin of brown lentils! The kids never know the difference!

Cauliflower Tots

Cauliflower is such an under rated vegetable! There are so many things to make out of cauliflower! Simply crumbing some cauliflower florets and baking them in the oven is super delicious!!

Crispy Kale Chips

Okay, okay, stop right there! Even you probably think that these are just a trick! But these kale chips are so easy to make and they are super YUM! A great snack for anyone, and super easy!

Vegemite and cheese scrolls

These are super easy to make and if you can’t be bothered making the dough you can simply use pastry sheets. I chop spinach really fine and mix it with vegemite before I spread it on the pastry. Cover it with tasty cheese, roll it, bake it and they are super yum and again the kids do not know!

Tacos

My kids love the idea that they get to eat their plate! And just as I encourage them to eat the rainbow with wraps I do the same with these!  They love sour cream and guacamole too!

Kid friendly Guacamole

Yum, with Tacos, nachos or wraps! I like to cut pita breads into triangles, bake them with a little olive oil and the kids dip them into their guacamole!

Dip with some nacho chips mmmmm.

Carrots with Peanut Butter

A teaspoon of peanut butter on a slice of carrot is delicious!

Zucchini Slice

A friend brought this one camping and shared it around and the kids were the ones who ate most if it!

Paleo Chocolate Mug Cake

This is our go-to after dinner sweet craving easy-to-make dessert!

Kiwi Bacon and Egg Pie– No arguments with this one!

Kiwis are famous for pies! I love making bacon and egg pie but there are very polarising views as to whether or not one should beat the egg or simply crack it into the pie. So, I do both!

I line a baking tin with pastry, fill the bottom with whisked eggs and milk and tasty cheese! Add a layer of bacon and then crack whole eggs on top.

I then cover the eggs with another layer of bacon, salt and pepper on the top, and a layer of grated tasty cheese before I cover the top with pastry! This one wins with both tastes!

I often add cayenne pepper to the scrambled egg mixture if it is for adults. Or I add mixed veges in too.

Popcorn Chicken

Homemade popcorn chicken is so yum! Always a winner in our house and they can be adapted to fit meals. You can have them as a snack, or on the side.

Try them all! I would love to hear of any that your kids love too! Leave me a comment and let me know any of your kids favourite recipes below or any of your thoughts on how you make cooking easier for your family!
